A passion for horses At 19 years old, rider Anastasia Nielsen is one of the rising stars of show jumping. The Monegasque resident has been amassing podium finishes since her teens and has ensured steady progress, becoming, in September 2025 in Rabat, the youngest rider in history to win a CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix. Driven by a work ethic developed very early on, Anastasia knows that this sport is built “ step by step, with the horse always at the centre of the process. ” She has learned to turn difficult days into motivation, convinced that every obstacle is a step towards the highest level. Surrounded by a solid team, a dedicated family, and a stable of horses geared towards top-level competition, she is laying the foundations for a career intended to last. For Anastasia, representing the Principality is “ above all a source of motivation and pride, ” a responsibility she transforms into energy to aim ever higher. With her quiet ambition, early professionalism, and impressive results, Anastasia approaches 2026 with objectives that match her potential: shining on the CSI5* circuit, excelling in Doha, Calgary, and Aachen, and continuing the Iron Dames adventure on the Longines Global Champions Tour. In the medium term, the young woman aims for the World and European Championships and the Olympic Games, which she views as the logical continuation of a journey built with precision and patience. ■ La passion pour le cheval À 19 ans, la cavalière Anastasia Nielsen est l’une des étoiles montantes du saut d’obstacles. La résidente monégasque enchaîne depuis l’adolescence les podiums et s’assure une progression constante jusqu’à devenir, en septembre 2025 à Rabat, la plus jeune cavalière de l’histoire à remporter le Grand Prix d’un CSI5* 1m60. Animée par une éthique de travail développée très tôt, Anastasia sait que ce sport se construit « pas à pas, avec le cheval toujours au centre du processus ». Elle a appris à transformer les jours difficiles en moteur, convaincue que chaque obstacle est une étape vers le très haut niveau. Entourée d’une équipe solide, d’une famille engagée et d’une écurie de chevaux orientés vers le haut niveau, elle établit les fondations d’une carrière destinée à perdurer. Pour Anastasia, représenter la Principauté est « avant tout une source de motivation et de fierté », une responsabilité qu’elle convertit en énergie pour viser toujours plus haut. Avec son ambition tranquille, son professionnalisme précoce et ses résultats brillants, Anastasia aborde 2026 avec des objectifs à la hauteur de son potentiel : briller sur le circuit CSI5*, s’illustrer à Doha, Calgary, Aix-la-Chapelle et poursuivre l’aventure Iron Dames de la Longines Global Champions Tour. À moyen terme, la jeune femme vise les Championnats du Monde, d’Europe et les J.O. qu’elle voit comme la suite logique d’un parcours construit avec précision et patience. ■
