Twenty years of supercar excellence returns to the Grimaldi Forum from 7-11 May. Top Marques, the annual gathering of exceptional automobiles, has been showcasing the most incredible models for two decades. Here’s a look back at the launches that defined previous editions.

B efore launching its anniversary edition, Top Marques has opened its memory album of the four most remarkable premieres (above our photos). The Top Marques show has enjoyed ever-growing success over 20 years and this spring brings together more than 100 exhibitors, including professionals from yachting, watchmaking, and events sectors. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, this beloved luxury car exhibition has become a global stage for unveiling supercars, hypercars, and exclusive transport concepts. The New Rubau Cars Model Now partnering with Informa Plc, organisers of the Monaco Yacht Show, Top Marques assembles renowned automotive brands including Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Bugatti. The 2025 edition showcases the latest model from Spanish manufacturers Rubau Cars. The show has evolved into a key transport platform, featuring the Venturi Astrolab (world’s first high-performance solar car in 2006), the Fisker Karma (one of the first luxury hybrid saloons in 2008), the SBX_001 space travel experience (by Space Expedition Curacao in 2012), and the AeroMobil flying
car prototype (in 2015). Last year, the Tesla Cybertruck made its European debut, with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco taking its first drive.
A New Jewellery Material Top Marques has also featured superyachts since 2009 and a Watch Pavilion since 2011. This year, a significantly expanded hall is dedicated to luxury watches and jewellery, featuring exhibitors including watch customisation and restoration specialist Artisans de Genève, alongside Infiniti Jewels, Osmium Institute with its metal—osmium—rarer than gold or platinum, and French designer Ilona Orel. The edition includes additional events: a competition with primary sponsor zondaCrypto, live artist demonstrations, drawing contests, the Carspotters Awards, and a 20-year retrospective showcasing the event’s evolution and its role in the luxury automotive world. ■
