In the heart of the Jardin Alpin, “ Carré d’or ” of the ski station, that the Monte-Carlo One - Courchevel will welcome its first clients during the 2026-2027 season. As Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s first international hotel, Monte-Carlo One - Courchevel brings together all real estate expertise to reach the highest peaks. Destined to quickly join the “ palace ” category, this 5-star hotel with 56 rooms and 3 apartments will welcome its first guests during the winter of 2026-2027.
T he most beautiful adventures often begin under the best circumstances. It was in October 2023: Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer had just signed the purchase of a hotel establishment in Courchevel 1850 and learned a few weeks later that the ski resort had been chosen to host several events for the 2030 Winter Olympics. As determined and ambitious as a high-level athlete, for over a year the Group has been bringing together its internal forces and external talents to transform the vast, currently closed real estate complex into one of the resort’s most luxurious establishments. With a single objective: to open Monte-Carlo One Courchevel for the 2026/2027 season, a 5-star hotel destined to become the city’s sixth palace hotel.
rehabilitate and extend the hotel, as well as create parking facilities. Three 600 m 2 chalets will be built: one will be put up for sale, while the other two, intended for rental, can be connected. In the same XXL luxury style, and exclusive to the heart of the Jardin alpin, three top-floor apartments can be combined into a single private space of approximately 470 m 2 .
Construction Work Starts in May
A total of fifty-six Deluxe, Junior Suites and Double Suites rooms will welcome their first guests in December 2026. The common areas -- restaurants, bar, spa, swimming pool, fitness room, ski shop, ski room with direct access to the slope -- will all face a vast pine forest. The building will meet BREEAM and GREEN GLOBE international certifications, which consider energy performance, water management, greenhouse gas emissions, indoor air quality, sustainable materials use, and waste management. For example, a biomass heating system is planned.
