The young Monegasque pianist continues to impress her homeland. On 20 September, at the Salle Prince Pierre in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, she will perform her new album, “Liszt by Stella Almondo: Angels & Demons”, released on 12 June 2026 by Naïve Records. Designed as a journey through Liszt’s profound emotional states, it features, in particular, Mephisto Waltz No. 1 , Erlkönig , Die Loreley , Liebeslied , Ave Maria , and Après une lecture du Dante . The figures of Mephisto, legends, poems, and the tension between shadow and light inform a highly personal recording, reflecting a young pianist who has chosen intensity from the very beginning.

La jeune Monégasque n’a pas fini d’impressionner son pays ! Le 20 septembre à Monaco dans la Salle Prince Pierre du Grimaldi Forum Monaco, elle interprétera son nouvel album intitulé « Liszt par Stella Almondo : Anges & Démons», sorti le 12 juin 2026 chez Naïve Records. Pensé comme une traversée des grandes tensions lisztiennes, il réunit notamment la Mephisto Waltz n° 1 , Erlkönig , Die Loreley , Liebeslied , Ave Maria et Après une lecture du Dante . La figure de Méphisto, les légendes, les poèmes et la tension entre ombre et lumière structurent un disque très personnel, à l’image d’une jeune pianiste qui choisit d’emblée l’intensité.

Monegasque pianist Stella Almondo will give a recital devoted to the works of Franz Liszt on 20 September at the Grimaldi Forum. La pianiste monégasque Stella Almondo donne un récital autour de l’œuvre de Franz Liszt le 20 septembre au Grimaldi Forum.

“ When I paint, I lay the canvas flat in front of me and the paint, which I dilute, then move gradually across the surface, and I love discovering the effects it creates, ” says Genieve Figgis. In her theatre‑like works, faces, costumes, and sumptuous décors blur into a fluid whole. Suddenly, the viewer finds themselves face to face with the very flesh of things, the flesh of the work – its paint. « Lorsque je peins, je place la toile à plat devant moi et la peinture que je dilue se déplace alors de proche en proche et j’aime à en découvrir les effets », raconte Genieve Figgis. Dans ses œuvres aux allures de théâtre, les visages, les costumes et décors somptueux se brouillent et se font fluides.
