ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE DE MONTE-CARLO NATHALIE STUTZMANN ET ANJA KAMPE

Nommée par S.A.R. la Princesse de Hanovre, la cheffe d’orchestre a pris la direction de l’OPMC le 1 er septembre. Ce concert est le premier de la Grande saison qu’elle présente avec l’orchestre, autour du répertoire germanique qu’elle affectionne et aux côtés de la soprano Anja Kampe. Une traversée en trois œuvres : l’ouverture de Rienzi (opéra de jeunesse de Wagner), les fameux Prelude und Liebestod de Tristan und Isolde (du même compositeur) et la Symphonie numéro 1 de Brahms (incarnation du romantisme allemand dans toute sa splendeur). NATHALIE STUTZMANN AND ANJA KAMPE Nominated by H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, the conductor assumed responsibility of the OPMC on 1 st September. This concert marks the first main season performance she presents with the orchestra, focusing on the German repertoire she cherishes, alongside soprano Anja Kampe. It is a journey through three works: the opening of Rienzi (Wagner’s early opera), the renowned Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde (by the same composer), and Brahms’s Symphony No. 1 , which exemplifies German Romanticism in all its splendour.

Feux verts sur la scène ! Le show de Broadway multirécompensé débarque à Monaco, inspiré du film de DreamWorks Animation qui avait fait sensation à sa sortie en 2001 en parodiant les contes de fées. Quand le monstre s’avère être un prince altruiste qui vit tranquillement au marais, les airs magiques et l’humour viennent faire l’éloge de la différence et invitent à se méfier des trompeuses apparences. Un spectacle familial en anglais, surtitré en français. SHREK - THE MUSICAL Stage lights shine! The multi-award-winning Broadway production arrives in Monaco, inspired by the DreamWorks Animation film that created a sensation upon its release in 2001 by parodying fairy tales. When the monster turns out to be a kind-hearted prince living quietly in a swamp, magical songs and humour celebrate individuality and remind us to be cautious of false appearances. A family show in English, with French subtitles.
