LIVE IS LIFE AT NEW MOODS

F or its third season, New Moods reiterates its aim: a line-up crafted to revive, in live form, the artists that have shaped generations, in a human scale venue with carefully calibrated acoustics. This autumn will feature international icons and celebrated French voices in dialogue, from Ed Sheeran to ABBA, Céline Dion to Lady Gaga, not forgetting Balavoine, Sardou, and Johnny Hallyday. The tribute performances celebrate the original works through experienced performers and musicians, who are sometimes “ larger than life ,” says artistic director Alfonso Ciulla. This formula appeals to a local audience who enjoy gathering in a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. The convivial atmosphere extends to the dining experience. “ We have revised the menu to enhance its suitability for sharing – more indulgent, more flavoursome, and still prepared on site, ” says Stéphane Lobono, director of New Moods. Finger foods, sharing plates, and seasonal new dishes complement the enjoyment of the concert. ■

P our sa troisième saison, le New Moods reprend le refrain : une programmation conçue pour retrouver en live tous les artistes qui ont marqué les générations, une salle à taille humaine, une acoustique soignée. L’automne fera dialoguer icônes internationales et grandes voix françaises, d’Ed Sheeran à ABBA, de Céline Dion à Lady Gaga, sans oublier Balavoine, Sardou ou Johnny Hallyday. Le tribute célèbre l’œuvre originale à travers des interprètes et musiciens aguerris, parfois « plus vrais que nature », souligne Alfonso Ciulla, directeur artistique. Une formule qui séduit une clientèle locale qui aime se retrouver dans une atmosphère chaleureuse et élégante. La convivialité se prolonge à table. « Nous avons revu la carte en l’adaptant encore mieux à l’esprit de partage, plus gourmande, goûteuse et toujours cuisinée sur place », souligne Stéphane Lobono, directeur du New Moods. Finger food, assiettes à partager et nouveautés de saison accompagnent le plaisir du concert. ■
